About Us

 Switch Outdoors goes back to, well, the outdoors.

Switch Outdoors™ travels light. We want to enjoy the outdoors, the event, the sun, the rain, whatever surrounds us. We want to make the most of our time watching a concert, talking around a campfire, walking the festival booths, or relaxing beside the tailgate party. We want to enjoy it all, but also keep it simple and friendly to our state.

We Enjoy Being There

We want to make all of our stuff fantastically convenient. One product can be used almost anywhere and in multiple ways. Our misting and cooling systems can go anywhere. Our coolers can be mainstays in your car as a tailgate or grocery shopping accessory. Our cloaks won't fall to the back of the closet. Plus, you get to look like a freakin' wizard while using them.

We Respect Simplicity

One phrase might best describe us: “Buy the nicest tools. Let them do the work.”  Switch Outdoors pays for higher quality materials and intends to be valuable. In doing so, we all spend less, leave less in landfills, and still get a better experience. One product can be your event base, a camping sleep system, a cooling spot, or simply make sure your presence is known at the Renaissance Faire.

We could sell more products for different uses, but we won't. One product should be enough for multiple things. To the extent that we are "one and done," we want you to build your product to match your personality and purposes. Our cloaks are customizable without limit and our misting devices are customizable for where you use it.

Who We Are

We are a Colorado-proud business.  To us, nothing is more important than the outdoors and being there to enjoy it.  We have also seen what happens to our parks and wildlife when people don't bother with restraint. We'd like to work against this by reducing overall consumerism, but also taking tangible efforts to help preserve our outdoors.

Switch Outdoors™ will donate the equivalent to its tax obligation directly to parks and outdoor conservation efforts. You may have to pay taxes on what we sell, but Switch will make sure at least that much makes it back to the outdoors.
